I think he makes some good points. I think Alabama will struggle on defense against Notre Dame and give up 30-40 points in the game. This will probably look like the Clemson vs. Notre Dame played in South Bend where Clemson had some key defensive players out.
Clemson lost containment of Ian Book a number of times in that game. They also struggled to cover the Notre Dame TEs in the passing game. Clemson lost 40-34.
I could see the Alabama defense looking like Clemson's in that first game. Can Notre Dame hold Alabama to under 40 points?
I don't think so but how does the loss of Landon Dickerson impact this game?
