Played RB back in the day. Not as well as these fellas, to put it mildly. But it's the only position I feel comfortable commenting on.

Wheaton is a little more elusive than Johnson. Johnson runs with a little more power than Wheaton. Just depends on what you're prioritizing in a 1st and 2nd down RB between those two.

I haven't seen much from either in pass blocking, so they probably have a ways to go there to get out on the field on 3rd down. But that's common for these really good high school RBs where pass blocking is an afterthought.

Johnson and our current RB Spiller have similar running styles. I read earlier in the season where Johnson said his high school team runs the same running play that Spiller broke for a TD on 4th down against the Gators.

The A&M coaches just seem to have gravitated towards Johnson throughout the past year. Jimbo is trying to give the A&M offense a power running identity to lean on in the 4th quarter.

The only one of those players at which A&M had a remote shot on offense was JoJo Earle. The Brockermeyer's and their Father hate the school with everything they have, and Wheaton never really gave us the time of day - OU led for most of his recruitment

On defense, we would have liked to have the LB, and actually had a decent shot until Alabama entered the picture. Alabama hurt OU and Texas way more than A&M with those recruitments, but I think Blackshire is a monster

wheaton is better than LJ and its not close. A&M fans sound like Texas fans justifying their misses.
