Kind of funny how players don’t want to play in their “meaningless” bowl game...

But have no problem playing in the senior bowl. Kind of makes you think.

They are self entitled shits who aren't thankful for the opportunities they receive from institutions of higher learning.

Of all the years to complain about this, I'll find it difficult to hold it against them this time.

Senior Bowl practices are far from meaningless.

If this were the case, you wouldn't have made this stupid post. There is a big difference in playing in some meaningless bowl game in Shreveport as opposed to playing/practicing in front of NFL scouts for a week at the Senior Bowl. The purpose of college is to prepare you for a career, if you are gifted enough to have a shot at playing at the next level, you would be stupid not to do everything in your power to take it.

If it is not a playoff game, let the young guys play for next year.

Bowls matter to schools, states.
Senior bowl is a week of job auditions for potential employers.

Those who opt out think they are playing it safe.
Everyone else think they are soulless quitters.

Its odd because they decided to go to meaningless schools (not Alabama) so its clear they have zero self respect anyways.

Players go to the senior bowl for the week of practice in front of NFL scouts from literally every NFL team. The game itself is inconsequential and since most of the players will only play about a quarter, the risk for injury is much lower.

Senior bowl has a way higher ROI than the key lime LaCroix bowl. Always impressed by the amount of posters on this board that are just clueless.

Those who opt out are looking to make dollars playing football. The senior bowl can be a step in that process. Bowl games, not so much.
