You could not go wrong with any of them. If I had a vote though I would give it to Mac though. Just because he is the most important player on the team. If he had got injured at any point this season then Bama would have lost several games this season. The Defense has been suspect at times this year especially early in the season. Also Young is not ready for prime time. No way he could have carried the offense the way Mac has this year. So yeah Mac deserves to win it and should win it.

Mac, Smitty and Najee probably did enough to split votes and I’m afraid it will leave the door open for Sunshine but I hope not!

Not how Heisman voting works.

He's on the #1 team in the country. I get it. But objectively, Trask has considerably more passing yards, passing td's and even more rushing td's. He accounts for 88% of our offense. And what makes his numbers even more amazing is we have no run game, so the D knows we have to throw. He won't get it though as stats seem to no longer matter to the voters.

It isn't like Trask has no one to throw to. And there's a reason he had more yards and TD's, he didn't have Najee Harris to give it to behind that road grader OL.

But when he had to get it done, he did NOT. He lost that Heisman the week before vs LSU IMO with that inexcusable performance, coughing the ball up and costing his team a shot at the playoffs.

Mac played a near flawless game last night, the "pick" he got charged with was snatched out of his receivers hands.Sure he has a lot of weapons, but you have to make the decisions and the throws.

Without him, we don't have a QB ready for prime time and it could have been a tough year.

He also has 3 losses. He is not that far ahead of Jones in yards if he is at all. He does have a few more TD passes. Trask played well last night but Mac outplayed him. He had slightly better stats than Trask in the game and made plays down the stretch when it Bama needed them. Most of all Mac got the W which may count the most to the voters.

It's supposed to be the award for a single year's performance, but sometimes it works it's way into a career award. Sunshine, for example, was in the early lead because of his history.

From that standpoint I would be happy if Smith won it. He's basically started for four years, had the game winner against UGA, and has been spectacular this year.

I think a Heisman winning QB would "do more" for Bama. but I think Smitty deserves it.

He's actually pretty far ahead. 386 more passing yards and 11 more td's. He's #1 in the entire nation in both categories. And again, our offense is so 1 dimensional it's sad. And our D is so bad that Kyle has to be perfect to win. Pretty terrible he just led us to 46 points and we still lost. (We also lost games where we scored 34 and 38). We all love our teams, I get that. And I know I'm biased, but an SEC QB that won his division and leads the nation in both passing yards and td's, may not win the Heisman.

Trask is good dude. Jones is just better.

Plus Trask has 3 losses. That alone rules him out.

Mac Jones literally just set the SECCG record for passing while leading his undefeated team to the greatest regular season in SEC history... beating 11 SEC teams.

He should definitely win the Heisman.

Smith should easily win the Biletnikoff.

If mac played the whole game like trask did his numbers would have been just as good. Most games were over at half. We just went through the motion in the second half in most games

Before the game I felt Mac Jones should win for the numbers he has. After watching it I like Najee best. Trask had the best season, but too many losses. Watching Jones and Trask in the same game really highlighted how much better Trasks throws are, even under considerably more pressure. I don’t know how you give a Heisman to the second best QB in a game and third best player on his offense (and that’s being kind).

Trask touchdowns: 46.

Non-Trask involved touchdowns: 10 combined.

Mac Touchdowns: 33.

Non-Mac involved Touchdowns: 35.

Trask is literally carrying the team, he is the most important player in college football to a team's success.

Even if Mac has a bad game, his running backs 5 yards a rush. Every pass is practically in single coverage, he has a great offensive line and playmakers all over the field.

His job is so much easier than Trask's.

Trask hasn't had a bad game all season.

His worst was maybe LSU and he still had more touchdowns than turnovers (two of which weren't his fault), 474 yards passing.

Mac has a team that functions at every level, Trask does not. He has a significant handicap around him and has still outproduced Mac.
