Oh because a LSU player has never done anything like that. What was the lineman’s name a couple of years ago that hit the Wisconsin player after the interception that sealed the game. Football is a physical sport and sometimes the emotions get the best of you. Does that make them a bad person I don’t know them personally so I don’t know but to say in 45 years you can only think of 2 players that’s hit someone late or cheap shot is crazy.

Did any LSU fans defend this?

The particular LSU lineman in question didn’t play the next 2-3 games after the Wisconsin game bc the coaches, university and fans were shocked by the lack of sportsmanship he exhibited. He was denounced by every fan on the TR. no Ken tried to white knight or prop him up. Dickerson’s hit not a “hard football play”. If that’s how you see it, you are the problem. No objective excuse for what he did. Vincent didn’t play the third quarter and only played some of the 4th. He missed the next week at Ole Miss. Karma caught up with Dickerson.

Josh Boutte.

He was immediately ejected and then suspended a game by LSU.

No such for Dickerson.
