What a stretch considering Mullen averaged 27th in his tenure. Which is your class average since 2010 until 2019 when ML became HC.

Cool so next year we'll be 15th. But Dan and JoMo did manage some above 25. I'm not sure Leach will ever do that. I don't follow recruiting until signing day and then I take a look. We can be competitive with coaching up our players. My comment was more about did you think Leach was going to come in and haul in a top 10 class?

The only thing that concerns me are the trenches. OL & DL This is where the SEC is different IMO. Our OL got better and the DL was good but we need to recruit that well to have success.

Honestly and my point is.. I don’t think ANY coach could come to state and pull a top 15 class every year. Never happened in my lifetime that I can remember

Again. Stop looking at a number and look at the positions you filled and the players.
Needed OL, it was addressed
Needed speed at WR, got one of the fastest players on the board.
QB of the future, check
Linebacker to replace E40, check

Chill man .. needs are being addressed

35th isn’t far out of line from what we have done in the past.

Actually I was worried Leach would do much worse. Let him have a couple good seasons and it will improve. I think he ends up getting big recruits for offense in the future
