Looking like Bobo's OC at CSU and former ol coach at UGA Will Friend is gonna be coming from Tenn to coach OL here....so much for that uptempo offense

Next years offense

Any truth to the report our players held a meeting to decide they didn't want to play for Bobo? If that's even remotely true, why are we going all in on the Bobo train? What the frick is Beamer thinking, does he even have the authority to get rid of Bobo?

alot of conflicting info on that, but where there is smoke there is usually fire. Not sure how many players it was, but there were some who voiced that opinion earlier today.

Well guess we'll know more in time. Either Bobo is let go and it's done, or he'll be kept and we'll see who disagrees in the transfer portal. Just don't understand why anyone would want to keep a coach that would cause so much angst.

So it looks like Napier turned down Auburn too?

Does that make people feel a little better?

Think about it my guy. If bobo REALLY causes that much angst... players had WEEKS to opt it off they really wanted to. Literally makes no sense for there to be some huge revolt at the 11th hour. That's bc there wasn't a huge revolt

Makes sense if they thought he was gonna be gone, then realized they were gonna be stuck with him. But I saw the Uva update, doesn't sound like as big a deal.

Doesn't change my opinion on Bobo, today's story was just brief icing on the cake.

He's the interim hc. Beamer said he wasn't coaching in this game since he was hired. Even if bobo wasn't coming back next year he would've coached this game

Yes. But there is a difference between interim HC coaching the bowl game then moving on and interim HC coaching the bowl game then sticking around.

I would imagine the players, like many fans, thought Bobo was coaching his last game in any capacity at Carolina. It now seems pretty clear that is not the case. I know I'm disappointed, seems plenty of fans on here are too. Throw in a spicy story that the players are three, not that hard to believe.

So much for keeping our legacy staffers lol. The one glimmer of hope is that we at least know he's replacing the Defensive staff. Now if he could do the same on offense...

I wonder how much autonomy he has in this so far?

Peterson is fine, although I'm hoping we scrap the "buck" and bring back the Spur. Rocker definitely isn't the line coach I would have kept lol.

What in the flying frick.

What’s the point in firing Muschamp if we’re gonna keep all his shitty arse assistant coaches?

He would have used us for practice just to go back to OU when Stoops retired

And if that would have happened, would we have been in a better or worse position than we are right now?
