Texas A&M is ranked 14th in FEI and 13th in F+ behind the likes of Florida, Cincinnati, BYU, Georgia, and Oklahoma. Texas A&M really isn't that good of a team at all. Their signature win was also blown to pieces on Saturday night and they got destroyed by the #1 team earlier this season. They have no business being in the CFB Playoff.

The fact that A&M is even in the conversation shows how weak the entirety of CFB is this year. Bama is the only good SEC team this year.

BYU is 4th and Wisconsin is 7th in FEI. I don't think it's a great metric this year.

2014 Ohio State had ONE win over a 10+ win team in the regular season (Michigan State). They lost by 14 to eventual (7-6) Virginia Tech. Hokies had three of their six losses to teams who finished with a losing record.

TCU and Baylor both had one loss in the regular season and were just as much good as Ohio State, deserving a shot at the CFP. But the XII didn't have a CCG at the time and the "co-champions" moniker backfired.

If 2014 Ohio State was deserving then 2020 Texas A&M is most definitely deserving.

AGGIES would be undefeated in the XII, Pac 12, B1G, ACC this year.

While your arguments against A&M are valid to some degree, they playoff has to be filled out with four teams. Who is worthy?
