Did you feel this way last year when Joe Burrow won the Heisman? LSU oline won some award. Top wr's in country. I think the first rb taken in the draft. Should Joe give his Heisman back? Mac and Joe are putting up similar numbers with similar talent.

But I think D. Smith should win it. So who knows.

No one was on Joe’s level it wasn’t even close. If you watch LSU did not have the best O line in the country. It was Joe’s pocket awareness that saved him multiple times. Same with Mac sometimes I guess.
And Clyde was not the best RB in the nation like Harris is today. Clyde was definitely top 7 I would say however. And I will go back to my first point no one was on Joes level so you couldn’t really argue anyone else. Trask and Mac are almost identical. That’s why I use those factors in my op to push Trask out in front.

Great points you are one of few Bama fans to do so.

Joe Burrow had the clear best stats last year. Nobody was close

Jones trails Trask in multiple stats

I’m not saying Jones doesn’t deserve it, but would feel weird winning the award when another Qb in his conference leads him in yrds and td by a decent amount
