I will say it’s bullshite how some programs walk when they have major issues. Lawsuits over technicalities (Penn State, NC) should result in suspension from the NCAA.

The NCAA rules themselves are completely reasonable (outside of the fact that ‘amateurism’ is bullshite).

In LSU’s case, LOIC is when multiple programs have concurrent issues:

Basketball has Wade-gate.
Football has a few infractions.
Those 2 are enough for you to be concerned.

The Title IX is what really makes the case for LOIC though. You said it yourself:

That key word pretty much directly meets the definition for LOIC. It’s not a coach. It’s not some boosters. It’s an office of the institution.
