Seems obvious.
With the Will Waders stuff and the Eddie Ogre stuff combined, what does everyone think is actually going to happen to LSU athletics? Serious question.

Are we about to see a death penalty scenario? Maybe for the entire athletics department?

I know people like to throw that around around here a lot as a joke, but if I'm being serious, something like this may actually need to be done.

Did y'all know that Louisiana is one of the most corrupt states in the country? That isn't a knock on your average Louisiana citizen, it's just a fact. If we look at what is going on with LSU athletics, something needs to happen. And something major.

Guys, you can't frickin do shite like this and expect to just get away with it. I've been saying this for years. If something isn't done about shite like this it could literally tear the entire conference apart. We Arkansas fans have already seen it first hand.

You cannot have a literal "ride or die" attitude and expect to get away with it indefinitely.

Something needs to be done. I want folks opinions on what that will be. I say death penalty, and I'm not saying this to be mean. I think it is appropriate.

Sources within the athletic dept are bracing for the worst.

Sources are indicating the likely punishment for football will be vacation of wins, 30 scholarships over 3 years and a 2 year post season ban. Similar to USC.

I’m saying 15 scholarships over 3-5 years and a two year bowl ban and three if they try to count this year.

No death penalty - definitely LOIC.

The NCAA can’t continue to seem weak when it comes to Title IX issues if it wants to survive in the modern era. They know this, and LSU will probably be their precedent-setting case where they leverage it in a LOIC charge and decision, rather than use it directly as an infraction.

Kinda new to this whole story, but hushing up repeated rape allegations against Guice and a booster stealing money from a hospital to pay players is as bad as it gets. It’s worse than anything SMU ever did. As for Wade, college basketball is an absolute cesspool and what he did is kinda par for the course. I think LSU retaining him after the wiretap came out is bad though. Just goes to show their lack of integrity.

It’s all pretty dayum bad, and I don’t see how the NCAA can do anything other than drop the hammer.

Ole Miss got LOIC, and still had a toothless penalty. The worst part of their penalty was self-imposed (Matt Luke).

Death Penalty will never be used again.

I don't think the NCAA enforces Title IX. So no.
