What does this even mean?

I can call out bad ideas without thinking someone is wrong unless they believe exactly as I do.

And have you looked at what's going on out there right now?

You realize drag queens have a fricking "story time" for little kids, rioting is acceptable while family gatherings for holidays are against the law, history books, monuments, and statues are all being defaced, re-written, or simply destroyed, and Big Tech and MSM are openly and overtly without a single care in the world censoring their ideological opposition (including the freaking President)?

And that's only a tiny fraction of what's happening.

And the people perpetrating these things are the same folks showering the woke movement (ie. themselves) with praise for letting a girl kick a football 35 yards.

It's all connected. It's all under the same "movement". And when combined, it all adds up.

Acting like we're not in the midst of a disgustingly massive cultural shift for the worse is beyond naïve and foolish.

Just try telling one small business owner out of the millions who have lost their life's work this year that the world isn't changing and they just need to lighten up.

There have been FAR more people arrested for rioting than there have been people arrested for having a family get together for thanksgiving. Per capita the two numbers ain't even close....almost everyone had some form of gathering for thanksgiving that was not in line with whatever the frick would cause someone to be arrested for it....comparitively speaking almost no one has been out rioting and looting. I would bet that the vast majority of people who have been out acting a fool rioting also had some kind of get together last Thursday.

That being said it is ridiculous that a person could be arrested for celebrating with their families and friends...where it happened folks should be protesting it and should get the people who made that call the frick out of office....this is the basis of what this nation was founded on. It is the responsibility of the citizenry to hold their elected officials and government accountable. That doesn't mean tossing a rock through a window....it means going to city council meetings and voting and, if necessary, marching in the streets peacefully.

Finally, I don't disagree we are seeing a shift in culture...we have seen a shift in culture since the beginning of time. I don't know that it is disgusting though. I don't like some of it, I could care less about some of it and some of it I can support. Change is difficult for people but it is one of the few things that we know is going to take place and there ain't shite we can do about it. I would prefer living in this country today, with the warts, than living in this country at any other time in its history...and not because there ain't no choice but because overall we are a better nation today than we were yesterday and not as good as we will be tomorrow.

I have asked this of many people and the conversation usually turns toward one of the weather....but when was a better time to live in the United States than right now???
