So how does any of that matter toward how quick someone has converted their new program into a contender?

Yes, experience matters. Track record is usually a fair indicator future performance. The situation you take over matters too. I think Jimbo’s process of more repeatable and likely to continue. O seems more like lightning in a bottle with Burrows and Brady.
