Let me clarify....Texas BEEF is not real BBQ. Everyone knows real BBQ is pork. I travel extensively for work. Best pulled pork in the nation is in GA, Tenn and North Carolina. Hell I have had better BBQ in New York City than in Texass

The cornstick sounds great. I’m trying to imagine the slaw. I like when my slaw and bbq combine a little but I think I like the creamy with the tangy combo not all tang. Hmm.

Better not be one of them damn corn "muffins" either. No sugar in my cornbread, cornstick or corndogs.

Yeah no. that's what I used to think when I didn't know anything.

Dislaimer: I still know very little, but I know that beef is BBQ. And it is DAMN GOOD BBQ!

Brisket is the only thing I miss about Texas. I travel the world for work, and nobody does beef better than Texas BBQ. Nobody

Don’t buy gas station bbq and then preach about Texas BBQ.

Pro Tip - There is a list in Texas Monthly.

Also Aggies do it right. One of these days I am going to go to BBQ summer camp or camp brisket and improve my skills.

BBQ is the method of cooking, not the specific meat.

Thats the thing. You can't sling a dead cat in Aiken County South Carolina without hitting a gas station selling BBQ that is superior to anything west of Shreveport. Meanwhile you can travel the length and breadth of Texas and visit all of the places in the Texas monthly and not a one of them would last a week in Aiken County SC....and Aiken County SC ain't even at the top of the list of BBQ in SC, NC, Georgia and Eastern Tennessee....

WIth all due respect Florida is also a BBQ desert. There is some good BBQ in the far panhandle and the first coast but generally speaking FLorida BBQ is Sonny's. Sonny's could compete in Texas though....

Like anywhere else, I've had bad Texas BBQ but I've also had good Texas BBQ. This pic looks like the good kind!

I hope you had to try to say something that stupid but I somehow doubt it.
