Correct
The Guice situation needs to be addressed and the truth needs to be found
But adding in the absolute awful reporting and lack of facts on the other cases that LSU handled completely fine make the entire article hard to take serious
That is my only point. Guice absolutely needs to be investigated and heads need to role if need be, but this article is nothing but troll bait
WAT? "At least seven LSU officials had direct knowledge that wide receiver Drake Davis was physically abusing his girlfriend, a different LSU women’s tennis player, but they sat on the information for months, while Davis continued to assault and strangle her."

So you're saying the LSU Athletic Department had received two allegations of rape by an LSU football player against two other student-athletes, but failed to notify the HC of the football team?
There's no proof that the two allegations ever made it past the Title IX office (whose report didnt even name Guice) and the tennis coach.
So yeah, I'm saying its a baseless allegation to state that Orgeron "knew about it."

The tennis player covered for Davis on multiple occasions when police and other officials tried to investigate incidents.

See, now you're making assumptions again.
Not sure why its rustling jimmies for me to say something is a "baseless allegation" when there's no proof of it happening and no one has even stated that it happened.

New week - and you're having to work like a crazy man to debunk this article. I hope LSU's paying you for your time, you damn well deserve it.

But the details of how LSU handled complaints against the other seven, including two who played key roles on its 2020 national championship team, remain largely secret.
Talk me through the 7 players discussed here. I just want to know the 7 and what people know

What do people know? They know the 7 players are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Any other questions we can help you with?

Cops were notified, and the victim(tennis player)then changed her story and lied to police to protect davis. During time of all investigations Davis was suspended
If you hold this against lsu football you are 100% a troll

This was posted by Lester earl on tiger rant of a timeline. I have no idea how accurate it is. This is his information he obtained I think from the article
“I've pieced together a timeline based on USA Today article and other articles about Drake Davis' situation.
Re: Von Rosenberg's claim about O have zero tolerance, it's hard to believe that given this timeline. Especially focusing on April 2018, Verge Ausbery had a confession and Mickey Joseph's ongoing involvement of keeping tabs on Davis.
Feb 3 2016: Drake Davis commits to LSU.
June 2016: Drake Davis enrolls at LSU
Sept 25 2016: Les Miles fired, Coach O named interim.
Nov 26 2016: Ed Orgeron is hired at LSU.
May 2017: Victim's father spoke with Tennis Coach Sell on two other occasions that summer about alleged abuse.
April 14 2018: Davis admits in a text message to Verge Ausberry that he punched the victim. The conversation was not revealed until Aug during a search warrant. Message was deleted from Ausberry's phone despite LSU protocol of keeping for 5 years.
April 25 2018: Victim is punched by Davis, also tells LSU athletic trainer Donovan White about May 2017 episode. Segar files Title IX report. This is the first time the victim has officially filed reports on incidents.
June 18 2018: Police are called after Davis assaults victim again. No arrest made, victim covers for Davis.
July 11 2018: LSU judicial affairs calls Davis in for interview. Mickey Joseph tags along for interview. 3 of the victim's friends tells LSU judicial affairs that victim is covering for Davis.
LSU did not interview Davis for 2 months. Allegedly assaulted victim on 3 more occasions between then.
Aug 4 2018: Drake Davis participates in LSU's first practice, despite being banned from the facilities all summer.
Aug 17 2018: Drake Davis arrested for beating g/f over 4 separate incidents, dating back as early as May 2017.
Interesting note to this one:
An arrest warrant was issued Thursday after a police were tipped off by an "LSU official" who learned of the allegations.
We know from USA today article that this was Segar.
Aug 18 2018: Davis is suspended indefinitely by football & university
Sept 16 2018: Drake Davis arrested again child pornography
Sept 18 2018: Davis is removed from the LSU football team. “

Whenever someone says that there's no proof, 90% of the time they're guilty... Kinda like there's no evidence/proof that Jeffrey Epstein didn't kill himself..

Not trolling, but if any of these allegations hold any merit of truth, A LOT of heads should roll for this. Whether it be the Title IX office, AD's office, coaches, University administration, some or all should receive a pink slip!!
