This has been said every year by every fanbase with a coach on the hot seat. May be true, may not, but it isn't unique to So Car.

Yep, every single program "has the money" to pay massive buyouts and "the money is there" and Boosters will step up and cut the coach loose, money's no problem.

Yeah... that would make sense if Clemson didn't clobber Alabama a couple of year's ago.

And Alabama has clobbered Clemson. I didn't say they didn't have a great team, I said they didn't have great competition around them. Try to follow the conversation?

Your argument would make sense if Clemson ran through the ACC schedule like butter but suddenly hit a wall as soon as they stepped out of conference. I can't believe I'm defending them here but they've routinely taken down the best of other leagues in the CFP.

It's got to be tough playing down to the difference in talent level on these teams. The ridiculous number of regular-season games Clemson won in a row that was broken vs ND is ample proof that they are human and will play down to the level of competition they see from time to time. But seldom lose. They don't get that in the SEC. The ACC is not equal to the SEC and you are wasting time making an argument that would remotely suggest it.

And again, there were a few years in Spurrier's latter years where we were killing it in the SEC - including knocking off several top tier opponents and finishing top 5-6 in the entire country. Spurrier would just stub our toe against a lesser opponent at some point throughout the season. But the idea that somehow South Carolina will just never be able to hang is asinine.

Do you remember Spurrier's Florida fun and gun teams? Again, the point isn't whether SC can be somewhat relevant, the point is when they are, the mountain to the top will be twice as hard for SC as Clemson.

It's not a knock, it's a fact of football life. Welcome to the toughest conference in college football. And Dabo doesn't share your pain.

Well..The SEC is full of Saban Assistants that have never beat him and Dabo already has a 2 game advantage over all of those guys.

So what? That has nothing to do with the ACC being a much inferior football conference than the SEC. You are trying to make the stupid argument that the SEC fan wants to make. Your football teams can't come close to the talent level and superior coaching that your basketball programs maintain from year to year.

You have zero teams that have the football tradition of an FSU and Miami. Come over to the rant and wolf all you want about your team, but you don't wade through half the football attrition the winner of the SEC fights through every year.

See,,that's the big difference. Clemson fans don't give a rats arse about the ACC. It is merely a conduit for us. The SEC is a great conference, it also allows inferior programs like South Carolina to project themselves as something they aren't.

The SEC is an enabler

That sounds like a SC problem. And how about those Irish? You guys need to quit inviting these non-ACC team to sit in on your schedule. It obviously doesn't take much to upset the balance of power in the mighty ACC.

Nothing is happening until the end of the year is my guess. One thing we should have learned from this election is just because it’s on social media doesn’t mean it’s true
