Only game in the country that’s been a top 10 matchup for 3 consecutive years now, right?
Wow. I didn't realize that. It is a great rivalry, though. I think it ranks up there with Alabama/Auburn, Ohio State/Michigan, USC/Notre Dame and Alabama/LSU. Seems like both teams are usually very good, and there isn't a whole lot of love lost between the programs.
It's one of my favorites of the year.
Stop eating all of the Xanax and share bitch!

But it seems like Alabama has choked on the National stage lately, too.
Or maybe you have forgotten that butt kicking Clemson gave you and LSU handing you your head last year? You had better hope you win it all this year, or I will come looking for you to remind you of your team "choking on the national stage."
Neither Florida nor Georgia have beat us since the George W Bush era

It’s what college football was meant to be.
It's a great event, no doubt! However, it doesn't compare in college football NC picture as the "Iron Bowl!"
Once a premier classic split 50/50 in Birmingham's Historic Legion Field. Hence, the Iron Bowl got it's name from the South's Steel Capital. Anyway, now home and home its still a spectacle to behold! If you've never witnessed it in person I suggest you put it on your bucket list. A few years back, while TDY in Ocala,Fla. I got the opportunity to witness the WLOCP back when you could refer to it as such. I had a fantastic time! Buck Belue the Ga QB was having a tough game but he pulled it out in the end. Everybody, went to the clubs in the old town and drank ga _ fla fans, I stated, that you wouldn't be able to do that with AL/AU fans after an 'IRON BOWL!"

That sounds impressive and all until you realize neither have played you more than a handful of ties since then.
But hey. make yourself feel better any way you can. Why not just say the last 10 times we have played...or the last 5 times. Alabama would still come out on top, but that wouldn't look nearly as impressive, would it?
I mean, using your logic we could say we beat Clemson regularly....something Alabama can't say. "Clemson has beaten Georgia once in 29 years! We can beat Clemson and Alabama can't!" See how stupid that sounds?
But again...if you like Gus Malzahn and Dabo Swinney being your daddy, go for it!

Easily the best. I look forward to them every year.

Might want to check your facts about who is who's daddy!

Especially retarded when we are 3-2 vs clemson in the era I quoted.

6 is also more than a handful.

I love it and I never miss it but I'd put LSU / Bama above it. Even this year.

Once again the “Mighty Mouse” - Uga fans trying to make their case as an elite college football program. 40 is all that is needed to squelch the logic.

I hope Florida hangs 50 on Georgia.

They (Malzahn and Dabo) seem to be doing pretty well. Especially lately. I fully expect Alabama to beat Auburn this year....but I would not be surprised to see Clemson beat Alabama in the playoffs. So....if you prefer we can just say Dabo?

Okay. How many teams have good success against Alabama? Clemson and Auburn.
Like I said and you seem hesitant to address....is during the time frame you quoted we rarely played, so yeas, of course it looks bad. I mean, if you want to cherry pick let's take a look at trends. Seems like the beat down Clemson gave you indicates Clemson dominates Alabama. They at least are definitely trending that way. Not to mention I would guess they would be favored in a game this year.

No. It isn't. Especially when you want to make it sound like a 20 years period of time. You want to at least insinuate we have played every year and we can't beat you when that isn't the case at all.
Why do't you just say you have won the last 6 in a row? That represents reality a lot more than "...we've beat you every time since the Bush administration!" which hides the fact that we really haven't played that much in that time frame.

You seem to be the only one using the word "elite" and "Georgia" in the same sentence. Once again you lie.
Hey....beat Clemson and stop choking on the big stage then maybe we can talk.

I certainly wouldn't say neutral site matchups are "what college football was meant to be." Games on college campuses capture much more of the essence of college football
