Arky had some entertaining teams back in the day and Matt Jones was a beast. Also, loved myself George Wilson. Got to meet him for the Lions before making a nice career for the Bills.

Just think about the players he had on the team.

Jason Peters
Sean Andrews
Cedric Cobbs
George Wilson
Richard Smith
Caleb Miller
Ahmad "Batman" Carrol
Tony Bua
Sam Olajubutu
Jeb Huckabe

Just a bunch of talented football players.

Houston Nutt had a guy named Tavaris Jackson on the team too, but somehow he wasn't good enough to get significant playing time.

He went on to have a great NFL career.

I wouldn't call Jackson's NFL career great by any means. 39 TD passes in 10 years and never had more than 14 in one season. Minnesota replaced him with Brett Favre going into his 4th season.

Lmao. Jackson didn’t have a great NFL career. He averaged 700 yards 4 tds and 4 ints for 10 years. He managed to get 10 years in the league but his time can’t be considered remotely close to great. Jones was the perfect qb for the system Nutt wanted to run.

More razorback fans should be more angry at Nutt for wasting that year when he had a chance to have a 10 win season and play in a major bowl.
