That's true for us as well. We also had plays that catered to Bennetts athleticism.

You don't call a play counting on your QB to avoid the rush, but if you know he can you'll risk the possibility for an opportunity to exploit the defense because you know there's a reliable fallback when blocking breaks down.

Monken can do everything LSU did last year. Difference with Burrow is there nothing that limited the playbook.

Not to say there aren't limiting factors with every QB on our roster: Experience, athleticism, arm strength, size, health? That's why I like Mathis. I know his limiting factor can be solved.

Roll out

Conns:
limit area you can safely throw
Corner blitz can eat it up

Pros:
Easier throwing lanes
Run option in play
Wear out Defensive line


There is risk reward with whatever you do, but you need to play to your strengths
