Fair enough. I think you generally have good football insights when you aren’t working a subtle troll. That’s why I asked.
I think all things being equal, if JT isn’t physically ready, or ready, but Kirby knows he isn’t the guy...I wouldn’t hate giving Beck a couple of series just to see if he’s got the juice. I may be wrong, but I think Mathis brain surgery is going to always be a limiting factor for him psychologically. I can’t blame him but we can’t win with a QB who has nightmares of Bumper Pool every time he drops back.

Mathis looked no more rattled than Bennett did in the second half yesterday. Yes, it was Bama, but that was Mathis' first 4 drives in CFB.
I'll continue to maintain he'll end up a better player than Bennett within his first handful of starts - wherever they happen to come.
