I was certainly concerned about not running enough at the beginning of the 3rd

We rushed in 13 plays and passed for 11 plays in the 3rd quarter.

There wasnt a 3 down set where we didnt rush the football in the 3rd quarter.

What does it mean when someone says that we got away from the run with the playcalling? I'd love an honest assessment.

No idea why our lack of 3rd and short success in our previous games would have anything to do with running on 1st and 2nd down vs Bama in the 3rd qtr

I'm not sure what point you are bringing up.
On first and second down in the third quarter, we had 13 runs to 6 pass attempts.

Again, please define what it means when a playcaller gets away from the running game? I'd love to know what that statement means.

If you really think we need to get in a shooting match with Bama's offense I have ne reason to have this discussion with you

Dont put words in my mouth.
I think that people who complain about getting away from the run against Bama didnt watch the game. We ran the ball 2:1 in the third quarter on first and second downs.
We ran the ball more than passed in the third quarter on all downs.

Playcalling is the easiest Monday morning gripe.

The entire season playcalling has be more than adequate. That's including this past Saturday.
