Anyone who complains about getting away from the run doesnt understand that no one gets enough snaps when you dont get first downs.

Do you understand that in your scenario, we ran 3 plays and started the drive 1st and 15? Pass run pass.
You cant get away from any playcalling if you are only running 3 plays.

And as for the 3rd down call, we are not built to run consistently on SEC teams in third down. We converted one the entire game against Bama on the ground (3rd and 1). We are 9/24 converting third downs on the ground this season. We are 2/12 when the third down is longer than 3 yards (both of those conversions were Stetson scrambles).

We lead the SEC in third down conversions through the air (19 total).
16 for 38 passing when needing more than 3 yards.

I was certainly concerned about not running enough at the beginning of the 3rd qtr but somehow you got your
panties in a wad and for some reason brought up our lack of 3rd and short success vs other
teams.

No idea why our lack of 3rd and short success in our previous games would have anything to do with running on 1st and 2nd down vs Bama in the 3rd qtr especially when we were running for more YPC against them than any of our 3 previous opponents.

If you really think we need to get in a shooting match with Bama's offense I have ne reason to have this discussion with you.

ETA: Game was over when Bama went up by 10 so it didn't matter to me what we did on offense.Didnt bother me one way or another what we did. Bennett doesn't have the capability of leading us back
at that point.
