Does 7-3 this season with losses to UGA, LSU, and Alabama mean Gus remains on his perpetual hot seat or does he find a Sun Belt Waffle House in 2021?

7-3?

In my dreams.

5-5 might be the ceiling.

1-9 the floor.

I honestly think Auburn is dumb enough time keep him after this season. But in the event that they do, I believe he really is on the hot seat next year. But watch. Next year he’ll have a fantastic year, going like 11-1 with a loss only to Georgia and get an extension for a playoff berth.

I think Arkansas may beat Auburn this week.

Don't care what he does he's got to go.

Do I think he will lose his job this year? Nah. He has a built in excuse with how crazy this year has been with no spring, shortened camp, and only league games. (Not to mention his stupid buyout) They'll buy his BS and give him another year. That's probably the case for a lot of coaches who would normally have gotten canned this year, will keep their jobs because of the chaos that's went on.

Barring a total disaster where he goes 2-8 or 3-7, Gus will still be around next season and we will have the same exact issues we've had since 2015. Then I hope somebody who matters will grow a sack and do what needs to be done.

Gus isn’t going anywhere as long as he keeps going bowling every year and beating Saban every other.
