They would probably be favored to win every game up to Bama.

Oct. 10: vs. Arkansas
Oct. 17: at South Carolina
Oct. 24: at Ole Miss
Oct. 31: vs. LSU
Nov. 14: at Mississippi State
Nov. 21: vs. Tennessee
Nov. 28: at Alabama Crimson Tide
Dec. 5: vs. Texas A&M Aggies

And I can see them getting in the playoff even if they lose to Bama at 9-1.

Doubt that, it would be super unlikely to get two teams from the same division in (assuming bama got in in this scenario).

But yeah, I agree overall. Just need to get the monkey off out back at Athens.

Not if Bama goes 10-0.

Only scenario I could see in that case would be lose to Bama in a really tight game. Then Bama gets blown out in ATL by the east rep. Also would need chaos in the other P5 conferences with Clemson and OSU needing to have at least one loss too.

Specifically with Oklahoma losing, the SEC looks good to get two teams in.

I was thinking this as well looking at our schedule the other day. Home game with LSU and then 2 weeks to rest and prepare for the air raid. This gives us a nice chance to get the train moving before going to Tuscaloosa. After Bama we have a nice cupcake came to rest up prior to the seccg

It is a good schedule over all. I think LSU, MState will be tough wins for them, and I also believe way too many people are sleeping on Tennessee. They will slip up and beat somebody really good this year. I just hope it isn't us.

They likely would lose on of that five game stretch leading up to Bama. None of those are cake walks.

I can see it now Auburn and Alabama both get in the playoffs: 1. Alabama 2. Clemson 3. Auburn 4. Ohio State.

Bama beats Ohio State and Auburn beats Clemson to set up an Iron Bowl rematch for the national championship

The state of Alabama would turn into a war zone if this happened. This would be a peak 2020 moment

It's good that we get two weeks to prep for Leach's Air Raid

Agreed. Now that LSU is exposed as a patsy the schedule is a lot less daunting.

What a bad take. There are potential road bumps all over that schedule past Georgia this weekend.

Plenty of toss up games

LSU, State, Tennessee, Alabama & A&M could all potentially beat Auburn.
