The problem with LSU fans is that everyone had way too high expectations. Realistically, any championship team that only returns five starters is going to struggle. Alabama might be an exception here and there, but by and large there’s usually a significant drop off.

Auburn fans dealt with 2010->2011 auburn. Just realize that there are ten games and LSU is rebuilding.

Sorry for expecting that we hold an opponent to under 600 yards passing.

My favorite from several LSU posters this offseason regarding the loss of Brady to the NFL:

“No big loss, we still have the 2019 playbook and have the players to plug into the system. We won’t miss a beat.”

I think with Logan out and Stingly yesterday, two of our best defensive players, we had 11 new starters on defense. And on offense, it was 9 of 11 and one of those missed a lot of time last year. Basically an entirely new football team. It’s unprecedented.
