Here to eat this bitter arse crow like a man.

Myles Brennan is a decent qb (look at his stats) but he doesn’t have the “it” factor and won’t win us the close games.

The OL is horrendous.

The defense is honestly my biggest disappointment. I was convinced Bo Pelini was the right answer but I couldn’t have been more wrong. 600 yards allowed is nothing short of unacceptable.

This LSU fan will be happy with 7 wins this year. Holy shite was I wrong.

Yeah it's one game. No one is as good or bad as they think they are right now.

I was impressed . The DL played fairly well and there are reports from the stadium that the ice water was perfectly chilled. I give them a B+. We have a real shot against Vandy if everything falls into place.

The problem with LSU fans is that everyone had way too high expectations. Realistically, any championship team that only returns five starters is going to struggle. Alabama might be an exception here and there, but by and large there’s usually a significant drop off.

Auburn fans dealt with 2010->2011 auburn. Just realize that there are ten games and LSU is rebuilding.

You guys will be ok... No way you lose that much on the field talent, a borderline savant coordinator like Brady, then downgrade to Pelini and not have a pretty significant drop off... For all of the hell that I give you guys(cause I'm an arse like that), you did have the GOAT season last year and topped it off by beating Clemson like a drum and repped the SEC like a boss... Mad respect for that.

No he's not

This is partly due to Brennan not adjusting protection

The WRs bailed out Brennan all day.

There's a lot of stuff that was disappointing, and you kinda just have to accept it, but what really bothers me is that Pelini never really tried to change up anything.

I am close to 60 and talked to a staunch LSU fan in my hometown friday. I asked him about this years team. He claims the QB will be just as good and that there will be little to no drop off from last year. He was all into how no one was going to be able to stop the freshman TE. He was drinking the koolaid. But he did say that the sun will come up should LSU lose.

It’s not just that you were wrong, it’s that the rest of us were right. It’s was plain as day that LSU last season was a fluke. Orgeron is not a good coach. He needs stellar coordinators and a generational talent at QB for all his incomprehensible rabbling to actually work.

That feeling you are feeling is the same one we felt when Rohan Davey and Josh Reed torched us for over 500 yards passing on our homecoming in 2001.

It sucks, I know. But it will get better over time. Hang in there.

They're not. Brennan had plenty of time to throw. The longer he held the ball, the worse he got.

Miss St is better than I expected.

LSU is a young team.

I don’t think Pelini is the answer at DC based on his first stint here.

I don't think LSU's defense is as bad as everyone is saying. It was one bad game, lets see how both teams do in the other 9. People are saying Leach is the next big thing after one game time will tell about that one.

We’ll be fine after it’s all said and done. Just going to have some major growing pains this year. I felt like this would be a 7-4 team considering what we lost and yesterday didn’t completely shock me

Just unfortunate we had to face a team with an offense like Leach’s right out of the gate, especially with Stingley out. Hard to tell if the defense was that bad, or if the Air Raid just made things look worse than they actually are

You guys will be ok. It’s sucks when we see our teams lose a game especially after a championship season. You guys have loads of talent, but y’all lost a ton of players too. Stingley will be back and that will help y’all. Hang in there brother.

Not it's not.

Brennan had more time to throw than any SEC quarterback yesterday. Brennan can throw the ball, but he doesn't know how to play quarterback. Big difference.

Made a big mistake in choosing to "attack" Mike Leach with pressure. You cant do that. You rush 3 and drop 8 while playing a mix of zone and man.

Have you seen this kid throw simple slants and checkdowns? It’s awful. He won’t stand in the pocket and plays timid. It’s Brandon Harris 2.0
