1 mandated P5
A second P5 or 1 G5
A second G5 or FCS for 12 total.
Living in a non P5 college town, those money games mean survival for lower level programs. It also helps middle and lower P5 go bowling and or presents amazing upsets. I’ve watched North and South Dakota State own the B12 and B10 schools.

Make it 10 conference games. One OOC P5 and 1 G5. FCS needs to play FCS. That's why they are in another division of football.
