It's a lot easier to build a niche sport like baseball where they actually do have a scholarship advantage over other schools than it is to build a football power. Vandy will never have the resources to build a football program anything comparable to their baseball program. It's not even realistic to argue otherwise. Their ceiling is what James Franklin did, but even then, I don't think what he was doing was sustainable either.
