Man they really butchered the writeup on Brennan a bit...
Mississippi State is coming to Baton Rouge
Deculus is a RT and has been starting at RT the last 2 years.

It doesn’t help Brennan’s case, either, that rest of the starting offense is also brand new outside of WR Terrace Marshall Jr. and LT Austin Deculus.

Yeah, but who's actually going to be the best QB in the SEC? Gets real complicated after that. This crap list is a lot more about who is going to be air mailing during the season. So what? Miss State would rather go down throwing than running. The point is, they are going down, either way.

The top 4 wideouts in last year’s rotation are all out of the picture, having either declared early for the draft (Kendrick Rogers, Quartney Davis), opted out of the season (Jhamon Ausbon), or been ruled out due to injury (Camron Buckley). The remaining receivers who saw the field combined for all of 6 receptions.
That was interesting to read.

The post has been up for all of 40 minutes and this place is slow in the morning. Just sit back and relax. Do you not remember the LF/Chubb threads?

This whole but Joe Burrow was X thing isn’t going to work out very well. Are you expecting this unknown QB to make the most historic jump in NCAA history like Joe did?

That wasnt his point really. His point was pre-season rankings are always wrong to a degree, sometimes very wrong. They mean nothing. It's a way for us folks on sports message boards to have something to talk about leading up to the real games.

Trask has proven more than Costello and Jones because of his SEC play last year.
I'm not sure why people repeatedly try to discredit his play and drop him a few pegs down in the hierarchy.

At least Colin Hill beat out TBD.

I was really impressed with Trask in the LSU game last year.

Georgia so talented that people really believe that Qb’s 1st-3rd string are better than Myles Brennan?
I can’t wait to see Georgia’s new and improved spread triple option and mediocrity.

Myles and Mac will be the top 2 quarterbacks in the league.
The others don’t have the elite offensive talent that those two have.

The OP purposely misquoted the article for maximum shock value. In the article is ranks JT Daniels/Mathis at number 6.

Anyone who watched Fromm and Burrow play the 2018 season and them ranked Fromm ahead of Joe for 2019 does not know a damn thing about football. Fromm has never been accurate, he can throw outs off play action, his ability to read and check to receiver 2 /3 is limited, his vision and accuracy in the middle of the field is limited, and he can’t win without the running game taking the brunt of the load. This was evident in every Fromm game that he lost.

How in the heck can they rate Mathis over anyone at this point
Yeah.. that's silly.

He had a cyst removed, not a part of his brain. And it was 15 months ago.

It's a crap shoot at this point but I would probably have Trask and Jones as my top 2.
