Wisconsin ain’t pulling in five stars either.

These kids almost always go to blue bloods. It’s just the way it is. They have bigger and better everything and they are very good at cheating. It sucks but there is nothing level about the playing field.

To be successful here you have to win at least a handful of those recruiting battles, develop the hell out of the second tier guys, and unearth some “hidden gems”. You have to top all of that off with being a good game day coach. We’ll see if Drink can do that. Hopefully as more wins pile up the recruiting becomes easier, but probably not

I’ll say this, we have GOT to get some high upside WR on board. Even if we have to hit the transfer portal again. That is starting to concern me. It’s becoming a very important position in the modern game.

I wish Mizzou would incorporate some of Kentucky's approach to recruiting, using their northern SEC location as a plus for Ohio kids wanting to play in the SEC.

Iowa is an OL-TE factory. Why not try to tap into it?
