Because Miss State lost half their starters and sucked before that happened.
In 2018 LSU returned 10 starters and Miss State returned 17 a 9-4 team including 3 first rounders. We beat them 19-3.

Consider yourself lucky you met Moorhead and not Mullen in 2018. Coaching ineptitude was the only reason y’all won that year.
