5 returning starters, no Joey and Joe. State will win

Ok, I will take that bet. You take MSU straight up? How much?

State is young in a lot of places and historically Leach takes a couple of years to get going. State is pretty weak at WR as well, and a starting OL, DT, and CB all transferred out in the offseason. LSU's players are more talented.

That said, I think it's the most likely upset in week 1 and 16 1/2 is way too much.

Because they’re the defending national champs playing a team under a new coach that was only 3-5 in conference last year and is rebuilding even more this year

Because Miss State lost half their starters and sucked before that happened.

In 2018 LSU returned 10 starters and Miss State returned 17 a 9-4 team including 3 first rounders. We beat them 19-3.

I would be more concerned if your vols can get to .500 if i were you. 4-6 most likely at best.

National Champion coach facing a brand new conference coach at home has to be worth a few. LSU may have lost talent, but the talent gap between the two is still large.

I'm not sure why anyone is responding to your post as if you're serious.

Only 16 1/2? Thought it would be higher. Might have to place a bet.

Bc LSU still has shitloads of talent, even with all of the talent that left. This is LSU man, we have talent all over the field every year. It's just an opportunity for our next wave of studs to step up and shine. That's why.

Because they’re better than State and everyone except the internet trolls know it.

All signs are pointing to our defense being historically bad, offense should be good though. I think 16.5 is probably about right in this one.

O/U opened at 48.5 and if you were lucky enough to get the over there, you've got a lock. Even at the 57.5 it's probably a good bet.
