I live in Mobile. I have been through many hurricanes. This one was worse for Mobile than expected. Not much rain but the winds were much stronger than predicted. So many trees down throughout the city. 2-300 year oaks included. Like many said, slow movement keeled the winds blowing 2-3 times longer than most hurricanes. Still about 125,000 in Mobile without power. Some may not get power for a week to 10 days.
