Are people able to donate to the MRT to help with the cost of supplies?

We’ve never taken donations except locals who knew we were going and even then it’s like cases of water etc. We never take money. Its out of pocket and we prefer it that way.

The reason being we don’t want to be seen as making money off a bad situation. But yes, we take food and water or things like that. Hell, during the Louisiana ordeal, a few people including several of us hit the dollar tree for cheese & peanut butter crackers and candy for children just to have enough stuff to spread around.

Besides its light weight and small packaged. This is why we started with Tuna & Crackers and Ck Salad & crackers. Can pack so much in tiny space. It’s the bottled waters that take up so much space but its the biggest thing needed. But thank you for asking, that was very nice of you.
