Even if it is legal doesnt mean the coaching staff or the universities will tolerate it. Sure it could be legal but does anyone really think a coach would let some QB or anyone else start knowing he is probably a pothead and getting high before the game starts.

Alcohol is legal, why would pot problems be any different regarding number of instances, punishments, allowance from head coaches, etc?
