Joe Burrow on fire while Tua Tagovailoa struggles early in training camp

It is still safe to say that these two quarterbacks will constantly be compared throughout their careers. Burrow went first overall and Tagovailoa fell to the fifth pick of the first round.
With that said, Burrow has looked like the more NFL ready player up to this point, and that idea was strengthened on Friday. First, Bengals fans watched as Burrow dominated the team’s scrimmage by completing his first eight passes, overcoming multiple false starts, and tossing three touchdowns without A.J. Green, John Ross or Tee Higgins.
This is as good as you can get for this point in training camp, and especially since we won’t have any preseason games this year. Burrow has just looked like the quarterback he was advertised to be. He is getting the best out of everyone on offense.
Tagovailoa appeared to be overly hyped for the occasion, consistently overshooting receivers. When he was able to make connections, often it was because receivers such as Chester Rogers and Preston Williams were using all of their 6-foot-plus frames to make adjustments and haul in passes. He also tended to lead receivers out of bounds rather than give them space to walk the tightrope.

You are trying too hard. Just settle down, it'll be ok. And unless your life and happiness depends on a frigging boring NFL club (God help you if it does) then who the hell cares. Get out more.

Joe isn't coming off an injury, give Tua time to knock off the rust.

Let’s see how Burrow does when he has to face Baltimore and Pittsburgh’s defenses.

Um...
Watch: Tua Tagovailoa throws 70-yard TD, Fitzpatrick impressed
quote:
Miami Dolphins rookie Tua Tagovailoa turned heads during practice on Monday in South Florida, throwing three touchdown passes in competition with Josh Rosen for the backup quarterback job, including a 70-yard strike to Malcolm Perry. It was Tagovailoa's best showing of camp thus far, according to The Miami Herald, who mentioned the lefty's "flashes of brilliance" during 11-on-11 drills.

It's training camp and you are still obsessed with Bama

It's never good enough for LSU fans that Burrow is successful. It has to be Burrow is the best and rooting for Tua to fail.
Miserable base has to be miserable.

Tua has the skill set, he just can’t get hit. If he gets hit then it’s over.

Good! LSU fans can invest into following Burrow's NFL career once they realize how much Brennan sucks.

You know, I've got to be honest and give you some kudos here.
This is a staggeringly well-written observation, considering it was penned at 3:46 am presumably with a purple and gold dildo in your mouth.

On a day when Ryan Fitzpatrick was absent for personal reasons, both Josh Rosen and Tua Tagovailoa got significantly more work. And though Rosen had the better day, both disappointed. Their combined passer rating: a dismal 48.5.
Tagovailoa ended up going 6 of 15 for 95 yards, no touchdowns, two interceptions and one sack in 11 on 11 drills.
Oof. Not good.

Dolphin fans rejoice as their savior at QB returned
Guess you could call a bit of a scare or even a wake-up call of sorts for Dolphins fans, but Ryan Fitzpatrick is back and the team's quarterback situation once again is pretty clear.
This obviously is great news for the team based on what we saw in practice Friday when both Josh Rosen and Tua Tagovailoa, first-round picks in two of the past three drafts, really struggled in team drills.

Joe was a senior and it took an NFL coach and the best receiving corps in the country to finally elevate his game. My only complaint was why did it take so long? Joe Burrow *should* be where he is now and *should* be ready if he is the elite QB we think he is.
Tua was obviously elite in the college game but NFL is a different story. Tua is young and I personally think another season would have made him more prepared but kids these days don't wait when that money is there. Give Tua some time. I think he'll be fine.
I believe Joe B. will do well in the NFL kind of like Stafford has done but I'm still pumping the brakes on believing he'll be an elite QB in the NFL. We'll see how that goes. I think Tua will do fine as well but he will have some injuries (hopefully nothing horrific like he had at Bama) and this will limit how far he goes.
