context --- here is the quote by JB that started all of this:

quote:

Muss has to be a politician, but did Isaiah Joe really leave any kind of a "legacy" at Arkansas? Obviously not.

Zero reason to even debate whether or not Joe left a legacy at this moment especially in context to Muss's statement. Muss didn't say Joe was a legend or Razorback HOF but he was giving him credit for being a great Razorback who created a legacy of being a pretty good shooter. Muss didn't say he was legendary or had a legendary career. Joe's legacy is this:

Just like Qualls legacy was being an excellent dunker. Nothing HOF worthy - no real success in terms of championships or deep runs into the tourney but a good player with a small legacy. With that being said.... it was just a shitty hot take. What took it over the top was JB's little lackey arguing with anyone who would dare besmirch the honor of his boss. It mainly involved Tye Richardson and Pinto but somehow John Nabors got dragged into the argument and then a whole mess of Razorback twitter fans got involved.

Somebody brought up JB's professor ratings (had no clue he taught) and there were some petty and personal shots taken by both sides. Overall stupid drama but funny seeing our shitty media fight to see who is on top of the dung pile.

Hopefully the virus has helped ADs realize that the media is not needed at games to do their jobs. Maybe this will result in the removal of the press box and post game in person interviews. No more free tickets. No more comp meals. Just send the media a ZOOM link and a stats page and let them do their job from the office or home.

The melt from wally hall would be worth shutting the media out from going to games.

ADD: Some idiot compared Isaiah Joe to Joe Johnson and stated that "most Razorback fans don't remember Joe Johnson..." and that neither created a legacy. Seriously? every Razorback fan knows who Iso Joe is and we take pride in the fact that he is a Razorback. Hell, Bev spent limited time as a Razorback and we still claim him.

Jo3 left a great legacy here and probably should end up in the razorback HOF eventually he's got records, how could he not end up in there. his records aren't easy ones to break either as you see by the company on the above list.

Sure he spent two years here we didn't make it anywhere but that doesn't change he's a great razorback and there is no reason to start drama and talk shite. Jo3 was super classy too unlike the press unfortunately.

Also pretty telling that JB would tag Isaiah Joe in a much more fluffy tweet vs. the initial one:

Hell yeah we claim him -- and he absolutely claims Arkansas.
