Isn’t it common sense that, if you are not sick, you shouldn’t wear something that catches everything that should be exhaled, and holds all that filth in your breathing zone?

Common sense is not giving a rip about a "pandemic" that has infected less than 1% of the US population. This Chinavirus political nonsense has far overplayed its hand.

If youre old and / or have a compromised IS then yeah, you should be worried. The rest of us have normal lives to get to.

If you want football, doesn’t this seem like common sense?

They don't really help. You can look at the numbers for a state like California, which has strict mask laws and then a place like Georgia which has laws the opposite.

The spikes/curves are basically the same.

Or you can look at the data that shows the particles it blocks will travel less then 3 feet without a mask, and that's the distance from a cough, not just breathing. A mask cuts the distance in half, and does block some. So if you are going to be around someone who coughs in your face while sick, might help you a little bit. Doesn't help healthcare workers really though because it only slightly reduces the risk. They'll need shields and much more to be safe.

Wear them if you want(or if it's the law where you live for sure), but you better be doing the social distance thing and staying at home more if you actually don't want to get sick.

Auburn mandates them yet their players complained that no one was wearing them.

They require them ON CAMPUS (I think only indoors and outdoors if you can't socially distance).

The school has no jurisdiction off campus.

If the SEC playing this Fall is contingent on the students of all 14 conference schools to wear masks and socially distance.....

THEN THEY NEED TO JUST SHUT THE WHOLE DAMN THING DOWN RIGHT NOW!!!

Most students (and everyone else) will eventually contract the virus

We need to just accept that, deal with it the best we can (realistically) and get on with our lives.

Common sense would say that masks spread it because they become contaminated objects that are almost entirely handled incorrectly, hence most studies showing that they are of no benefit in a community setting.
