You're surprised by the 18-21 crowd not conforming to rules and regulations? Thankfully for them the risk of people that age getting seriously sick from this disease are virtually at 0%.

Yes but that does not account for those around them like faculty, staff, coaches, and every business they enter from getting it and becoming serious.

If they were confined to them and only their peers of the same age it would be one thing but they are not.

Unfortunately for residents of the communities of these college towns, not to mention faculty and staff at these colleges, the risk isn't as low.

And we still don't know much about the long term health impacts. Lot of reports of permanent heart, lung, and kidney damage in survivors, some that never even showed any symptoms of the virus.
