What say you Aggies? Three years into your current coaching regime, are you still happy with Jimbo?

I am sure you would say the same thing for your HC Orgeron.
Fisher still need more time to get everything together to make it work. Orgeron didn't need a lot of time to get it done since LSU was already in pretty good shape when he took over the HC after Les Miles firing.

My A&M Buddies are just about done. They hope he can do it, but they don’t believe.

My usually chirpy ag family members have been dead silent since 50-7. Saw a few at Mardi Gras and I was told talking college football was not on the agenda for the weekend.

From my conversations with them, Jimbo is the least of their worries right now.

This Sul Ross statue debate has torn that university apart. Unlike other schools, they are big on their traditions to the point of obsession.

They are pretty much screwed either way. My guess is that the university will eventually fold and remove the statue. But they will take a massive alumni support and donation hit because of it.

I imagine Aggies are secretly hoping the season is cancelled. I dont blame them as this season will be an absolute shitshow regardless of the decision.

It seems a bit much to say this is a make or break season for Jimbo... but if A&M is going to step up this would be the year to do it. 4 or 5 of their games will be against teams breaking in new coaches who didn't get the benefit of Spring football. Their OOC schedule is very forgiving. If the Aggies don't win at least 10 games and compete for the West this year its hard to imagine they ever will under Jimbo.

If Jimbo is 'all that and a bag of chips', he should be able to win 10 games with the 2020 schedule.

Sept. 5 Abilene Christian
Sept. 12 North Texas
Sept. 19 Colorado
Sept. 26 Arkansas (in Arlington)
Oct. 3 at Mississippi State
Oct. 10 Fresno State
Oct. 17 at Auburn
Oct. 24 at South Carolina
Oct. 31 OPEN DATE
Nov. 7 Ole Miss
Nov. 14 Vanderbilt
Nov. 21 at Alabama
Nov. 28 LSU

He’s exceeded expectations in year one, met then in year two with a murderous schedule, and recruited lights out. Very excited about the next 2 years!

Aggie loves Jimbo. Aggie doesn’t care about winning big. Winning big is for Tigers.

Very much so.

As for Mond ... I was the only Ag I knew who supported him.
Not only has he lost me, he’s incurred my wrath.
I hope to heck Coach Fisher goes with a different QB.
Anyone but Mond.

I still think they went with what they thought was the splash hire and jimbo played both a1m and LSU... just to get more money. Plus, I think saban had some behind the scenes work going to help jimbo get there. In the end, LSU looks like they made the right call and honestly, if you put saban at a1m in place of jimbo then he's probably got at least on SECW title.

It's two years as stated, the real question mark on the season apart from whether it'll be played is Mond.

I was expecting him to have a substantial increase in competition rate with multiple junior receivers, but obviously that didn't happen. I'm guessing his talent level has peaked (he throws away roughly a good freshman level at this point 60%) in his junior year.

If he can somehow defy consensual logic and start being a hell of a lot more accurate, we have a chance, otherwise I'm thinking 9-3 season awaits.

The social justice warrior thing he's got going on is just going to be even more of a distraction.

My 2 son in laws are BIG AGGIE Fans and they are about done with it all!! They are sick of Mond being stupid and knows Jimbo can't handle him just like Winston. They like many Aggies will give up their season tickets if the statue is removed.High dollar donors are threatening to pull their money. Truly a divided situation in Aggieland.

I'm fine with him. We will see if he can deliver soon enough, but it won't be this year. There is zero chance that football is played this Fall
