They also didn’t want to travel to a another Power 5 program’s campus, whether it be MSU or anyone else. It’s the only point I’ve been trying to make this entire time. Was always a bitch move to only play “neutral site” games.

Why play at someone else's campus when you're being offered millions to play at a neutral site against a similar caliber opponent? Also easier to schedule a neutral site on shorter notice, which is what we were looking to do due to conference realignment.
