Let's tear down the pyramids, the Roman Colosseum, the Pantheon, the Great Wall of China and numerous others. I would also say the ancient city of Palmyra, but your statue-hating ideological cousins in ISIS already destroyed it because it offended the prophet.

There is a difference between the coliseum as a historical sight and a monument build in the 1950s to honor The President of the Confederacy.
There is no historical value to the statue itself.
And I’ve said multiple times I am Not for tearing down every statue. Just like I am Not for tearing down plantation homes.
It’s the difference between destroying the Mona Lisa and a print of the Mona Lisa.
