Aggy’s fight song is set to the tune of Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby.
The Eyes of Texas was written in 1903 by a UT student based on the UT President ending his speeches with “The Eyes of Texas Are Upon You.” It wasn’t stolen from anyone, other than the tune (see: Goodbye, My Coney Island Baby).
And we’ve beaten them 76 times, not 75.
