Cost cutting move? You are on hook to pay Jimbo a MINIMUM for the next 8 years. Jimbo is 22-15 and 1-9 against top 10 teams since 2016. Orgeron is 41-9 and 12-3 against the Top 10 since taking over the LSU program. He has one a national championship and changed the culture yet his contract was only extended for 6 years and $42 million. I don’t think Fisher is a top 10 coach and I can only imagine the extension he would get if he does happen to win a NC at A&M.

I don't blame Jimbo. I'd do the same in his situation. Gut Aggy financially while laughing all the way to the bank.
No necessity to ever actually beat anyone. Except LSU 1 out of every 10 tries.
