The only thing consistent about Ohio State this century is that they have been virtually unopposed for leadership of the Big Ten. Oklahoma has had this luxury as well playing in the Big Twelve. No other teams winning a title in the Big Ten and ONLY a one-time win by Texas in 19 years of competition does not support the schedule strength argument being largely ignored by fans of both teams. Ohio Sate and Oklahoma would be upper tier SEC teams but would not have near their gleaming win-loss records if they had to compete and play against the likes of Alabama, LSU, Florida, Georgia, and Auburn every season. It's nice to be in a one or two team conference but it shouldn't be as respected an accomplishment as the fans of Ohio State and Oklahoma claim it to be.
