Well I know for sure yall were like 7-6 in 2011. 2012 would've definitely put yall at #2 easily, why did yall agree to a bowl ban for some ticky tack bs?

Yep, the Fickell year. He clearly wasn't ready for that job at that time.

I agree about 2012. It would have been Ohio State vs Notre Dame and Alabama would have been on the outside looking in. Most fans did not agree with the bowl ban that year. They felt it should have been taken the year before.

Tressell even being fired was some bs, but it worked out great in hindsight with his offenses becoming stale and Meyer becoming available at the same time. I called Meyer to OSU in 2011, I think yalls job was always his goal

Your conference also has 0 championships besides yours.
THIS is the primary weakness of Ohio State's claim to stature. The Big Ten simply has not produced the same high quality of competition for Ohio State that the SEC West and Florida have for LSU. Three of LSU's YEARLY in-conference opponents have WON national championships in this century. None of Ohio States yearly in-conference opponents have won national championships in this century. This is a huge difference when you consider quality of schedules between the two schools. So Ohio State has a few more victories over lesser opponents. Big deal.
