The only comparison is they won a national title with a Heisman trophy winning QB. The board wants to compare the two because Auburn took a turn for the worse after that season and are hoping the same will happen to LSU. Someone else already mentioned it, but calling him Gene 2.0 has just become the next lazy argument this board has created. It's honestly pointless arguing with people. They made up their minds about Orgeron a long time ago. It's doesn't matter what he does, there will be a new narrative created to try to denigrate whatever those accomplishments are, regardless of how illogical and/or hypocritical they are. LSU will continue to win like they have the past 20 years, and people will continue to find ways to argue against logic.
