And I think the tension between him being an "offensive mind" and a CEO HC is a big part of why Auburn can't get over the hump.

Luckily he seems to have totally given control of the defense to Steele. I don't ever see him doing the same with the offense, nor should he necessarily. He was hired for his offense, but I think he is developing more into a program builder.
