Maybe people shouldn't speak in absolutes then.
Seemed pretty damn confident to me. Sounded like LSU didn't stand a chance just like what the same people are saying now.
LSU had 4 true freshman on the field in the same scenario sometimes.

There were moments where the defense for Alabama consisted of 5-6 true freshmen in competitive game situations.

I am glad you pointed that out, while only Todd Harris, the only true FS on LSU' roster got nicked vs. Texas and then went out for the year in game 3, LSU had numerous guys that missed 4/5 games at various stretches (Chaisson-DE/OLB, Logan-DT, Lawrence-DT, Delpit-S) Divinity-OLB got hurt and suspended, etc, during the year which as you noted resulted in some combination of Ika-DL, Flott-CB, Marcel Brooks-lB, Jay Ward-CB, all True Freshman being on the field with Stingley, also a true freshman, being on the field together in significant games.
