Initially the $1k per adult and $500 per child was all you heard about. Now there are some reports that some in the GOP want to limit it to the $75k/150k thresholds.
There's talk this morning that they want to limit it even more by imposing phase-in limits.
But they'll once again stroke big checks to the corporations that burned through their tax cut savings with stock buybacks.

I'd prefer they just defer rent and mortgage payments for 90 days. People would still be able to stimulate the economy by spending their own money while maintaining their obligation to pay their bills in the future.
I know this doesn't really help someone who is currently out of work, but it would at least reduce the number of checks going out.
One a selfish note it would be great for me because I'm hoping to sell my house in 90 days.![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/IconLOL.gif)

If we are being realistic, by the time any of these measures make it through the Senate and to the White House in a form that Trump won't veto, they'll be gutted to the point that it won't do much for anyone besides the politicians who get to harp on the fact that they voted for it.
